We stayed at Cairngorm Cottage for a relaxing weekend getaway and were delighted by our experience. The cottage is located in a peaceful area with beautiful walking trails right on our doorstep. The welcome pack was a thoughtful touch, and we enjoyed the delicious shortbread provided. The cottage itself was spacious, with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. We especially loved the cozy feel of being surrounded by woods and the convenience of having shops and restaurants within a short walk. this was the best accommodation we've had in Aviemore, and we highly recommend it.

Great value for money with comfortable beds, plenty of space, and a peaceful location surrounded by woods. The bottle of wine and shortbread biscuit provided a lovely touch. The Co-op and chippy were conveniently just a 5-minute walk away. The photos don't do justice to the cozy cottage, perfect for our group of 5 adults, teens, and a dog. The bedrooms were spacious with ample storage, and each room had its own heater. The location was ideal, close enough to walk into town but still peaceful. The immediate hot water and good water pressure were a plus. Highly recommend the Old Bridge Inn for food.
The only suggestion for improvement would be a larger fridge freezer. Breakfast items could be expanded to provide even more variety.

The distance from the train station might pose an inconvenience for those without a car. there was a shortcut walk into town and the nearest shops were within easy reach.

The cottage was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a romantic escape. The interior decor was charming and had a nice Highland cow theme that added to the atmosphere. The welcome bottle of wine and box of shortbread were a lovely touch and made us feel instantly welcomed. The fully equipped kitchen was stocked with essentials like tea, coffee, cooking oil, and spices, making it easy to prepare our own meals. The location, nestled in a quiet area with a good-sized garden, provided a tranquil and peaceful setting for our getaway.
We were disappointed to find that there were no dishwasher or washing machine facilities in the cottage. Having to wash dishes by hand was quite tedious, especially during a romantic escape where we wanted to spend more quality time together.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. The three-bedroom bungalow was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. We were pleasantly surprised to find games, DVDs, bikes, and even a gin bar provided for us. The photos on the website didn't do justice to the cozy and comfortable atmosphere of the cottage. The bedrooms were all a good size with plenty of storage space. Each room had its own heater, which quickly warmed up the entire cottage. The location was perfect, a short walk to the town center yet tucked away in a peaceful area next to a lovely woodland. The hot water supply was abundant and the water pressure excellent. it was a delightful stay, highly recommended.
The only drawback we found was the lack of a door directly leading to the garden. However, this is just a minor inconvenience due to the layout of the house.
